Your yacht care program starts with a personalized Maintenance Log that will stay with your yachts records and a “Basic” list of items as well as added items for your specific needs that will be checked, serviced or cared for on a schedule that works for you.

Here is an example of some of the service your yacht will receive:

1. Top off all fluids: Engines (main & gensets) oils, trans oil, cooling water, battery fluids, potable water tanks.

2. Check belts hoses and general external condition on engines.

3. Check and clean sea strainers, exercise associated thru-hull valves and seacocks.

4. Check shaft and rudder packing for leakage

5. Check proper operation of all bilge pumps

6. Check for proper operation of all items on electrical panel.

7. Run genset and ensure it powers the electrical system.

8. Check all helm accessories for proper operation including all required navigation lights and safety equipment.

9. Run main engines, check for proper cooling water flow and that engine indicating system are in working order.

10. Wipe down, wash down, clean up

While performing these checks the vessel will be examined for loose screws, bolts, wires, panels, corrosion, electrolysis, water leaks, anything that would appear irregular in accessed areas.

Of course this is a general list and will be modified to your specific needs. The actual contract between you and Boater to Boater will be specific to all items that are to be accomplished and agreed to by both parties.
